Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full‑time Retail Cashier (Kasir) to join our vibrant sales team. This role is central to delivering a seamless checkout experience for our customers in a fast‑paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will combine a solid understanding of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems with strong interpersonal skills, ensuring that every transaction is handled efficiently, accurately, and with a friendly attitude.
Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and POS system to process sales, returns, exchanges, and refunds while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly, answer basic product inquiries, and guide them through the checkout process.
- Verify the authenticity of cash, credit, and electronic payments, and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring that cash drawers are balanced at the start and end of each shift.
- Collaborate with floor staff to replenish merchandise, manage stock levels, and conduct periodic inventory counts.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activity or potential fraud to store management.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including preparing cash deposits and completing end‑of‑day reports.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction.
- Work under pressure during peak hours, maintaining composure and delivering consistent service quality.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge, promotional offers, and new POS features.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a retail or cashier role, with a minimum of 6 months of direct cash handling experience.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia (additional language skills are a plus).
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven capability to perform well under pressure, especially during busy sales periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS software; experience with “Sistem Kasir” is preferred.
- Flexible availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
