Introduction

The Kitchen Operations Specialist is a pivotal role within our fast‑paced culinary environment, responsible for ensuring that daily kitchen activities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This position is ideal for candidates who possess solid hands‑on experience in food preparation, equipment handling, and team coordination. Working Monday through Saturday from 08:00 – 17:00, you will join a dynamic team that values professionalism, integrity, and a passion for delivering high‑quality meals to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day‑to‑day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and service timing.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Operate, clean, and perform routine checks on kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, slicers, and dishwashers.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct daily stock counts, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of ingredients.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill development and teamwork.
  • Monitor kitchen workflow under high‑pressure situations, adjusting staffing and task allocation to meet service demands.
  • Document daily production reports, waste logs, and equipment maintenance records for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the head chef and front‑of‑house managers to synchronize menu execution with guest expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall kitchen efficiency.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are organized, properly labeled, and free from hazards at the end of each shift.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a commercial kitchen or food‑service operation.
  • Strong ability to operate a wide range of kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to convey instructions clearly and listen actively.
  • Honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Resilience under pressure; capable of maintaining quality and speed during peak service periods.
  • Gender: Male (as specified by the client), though all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle the demands of a busy kitchen.
