Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Staff Akuntansi to join our finance team in the vibrant PIK area of North Jakarta. This entry‑level position welcomes fresh graduates with a strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation, while also valuing candidates who bring up to one year of practical experience. The successful applicant will support daily accounting operations, assist with tax reporting, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes. Responsibilities
- Prepare and file annual tax returns, ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax regulations and staying updated on any legislative changes.
- Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries, and reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis.
- Develop and monitor the monthly financial reporting package, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable cycles, track outstanding invoices, and coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve discrepancies.
- Collect, organize, and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, and payroll records for accurate accounting entries.
- Assist in the preparation of internal management reports, budget variance analyses, and cost‑control reviews.
- Support the implementation of a streamlined bookkeeping system, recommending automation tools and best‑practice procedures.
- Collaborate with senior accountants and auditors during internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects that require financial insight, such as pricing strategies, investment evaluations, and process‑optimization initiatives.
- Work flexible hours from Monday to Saturday (08:30 – 18:00) and be available for occasional overtime to meet month‑end and tax‑filing deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a S1 degree is strongly preferred.
- Age not exceeding 30 years.
- At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates with strong internships are also considered.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost accounting, and management accounting concepts.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Residence in or around Jakarta preferred for ease of commute.
