To maintain our reputation for reliability and high performance, we are looking for a dedicated Mekanik Mesin – Penanggung Jawab Perawatan who will lead the maintenance team at our main plant in Ngoro.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all machines and equipment operate at optimal efficiency, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous production targets.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance programs for diesel, gasoline, and electric engines, as well as heavy‑equipment components.
- Diagnose mechanical failures, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Operate and maintain workshop tools including welding machines, lathes (bubut), and grinders (gerinda) to fabricate or repair parts on‑site.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to prioritize maintenance tasks without disrupting shift output.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and spare‑parts inventory to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Train junior technicians on safe work practices, proper equipment handling, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggesting upgrades or modifications to improve machine reliability.
- Ensure all work follows company safety policies, ISO standards, and local occupational health regulations.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs, calibration, and major overhauls when necessary.
- Provide after‑hours on‑call support on a rotating schedule to address emergency breakdowns.
Requirements
- Gender: Laki‑laki (Male)
- Age: Maximum 40 years
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably SMK Jurusan Teknik Mesin or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum 1‑2 years as a mechanic in a project‑based environment, preferably with exposure to heavy‑equipment or industrial machinery.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in welding (arc, MIG/TIG) and metal fabrication.
- Experienced in operating lathe machines (bubut) and grinders (gerinda).
- Knowledge of diesel, gasoline, and electronic engine systems.
- Familiarity with heavy‑equipment mechanics, industrial machinery, and preventive maintenance software.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork, especially when coordinating with production staff.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00 (with occasional overtime or on‑call duties).
