Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Western dishes according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Assist the head chef with menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and portion control.
- Execute precise plating techniques to ensure an appealing visual presentation for every plate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and help with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Support the kitchen team during peak service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Participate in daily briefings, sharing feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Uphold the restaurant’s standards of professionalism, honesty, and responsibility in all interactions.
- Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to address special dietary requests and guest feedback.
- Engage in regular training sessions to stay current with emerging cooking techniques and trends.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 30 years old; all genders are welcome.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a Cook or Cook Helper in a Western‑style kitchen.
- Demonstrated skill in food preparation, cooking, and artistic plating.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, and a willingness to take on responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively under high‑pressure environments and meet tight service deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
