To sustain this growth and deepen market penetration in the Bontang region, we are seeking a dynamic Manajer Penjualan Area Bontang who can drive sales, build strong customer relationships, and lead a high‑performing sales team.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and revenue goals for the Bontang territory.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on order volumes, stock levels, promotional activities, and field visit outcomes.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and area mapping to identify untapped outlets, new construction projects, and renovation opportunities.
- Plan and execute scheduled visits to existing and prospective retailers, ensuring professional presentation of the FORTRESS™ product line.
- Increase the number of New Outlet Orders (NOO) while maintaining the performance of active outlets (OA) according to company standards.
- Foster long‑term relationships with key customers, architects, contractors, and distributors, acting as the primary point of contact for any service or technical inquiries.
- Monitor and control the implementation of sales strategies and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- Develop detailed area work plans, set clear objectives for each sales representative, and report progress to the Supervisor or National Sales Manager.
- Utilize the company’s digital sales platform to track performance metrics, forecast demand, and generate actionable insights for the wider sales organization.
- Lead by example in coaching junior staff, sharing best practices, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and ethical conduct.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a degree in Marketing, Management, or Business Communication.
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience in building materials or FMCG sectors.
- Age not exceeding 35 years; local residency in Bontang or surrounding areas.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for frequent field travel.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a customer‑focused mindset.
- Proficiency in using digital sales tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and adapt to changing market conditions.
- High level of personal integrity, resilience, and a results‑driven work ethic.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the designated area and attend occasional regional training sessions.
