Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Operator Packaging (FMCG) to join our dynamic production team at our modern manufacturing facility in Cibinong, Depok. This role is essential to ensuring that our consumer goods—particularly food and beverage products—are packed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards before reaching the market. As an Operator Packer, you will work closely with line supervisors, quality assurance staff, and maintenance technicians to meet daily production targets while adhering to strict safety and hygiene protocols.
Responsibilities
- Execute the complete packaging process for a variety of FMCG products, following company SOPs and production schedules.
- Operate, monitor, and assist with both manual and automated packing machines, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Conduct visual inspections of packed items, verifying label accuracy, expiration dates, and overall package integrity.
- Maintain accurate production logs, recording output quantities, any deviations, and machine adjustments.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to perform routine checks and address any non‑conformities promptly.
- Uphold a clean and organized work environment by following K3 (occupational health and safety) guidelines and participating in regular sanitation activities.
- Assist in inventory management by reporting material shortages and participating in cycle counts of packaging supplies.
- Adapt to rotating shift schedules, including weekend work, to ensure continuous operation of the packaging line.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements that can enhance efficiency, reduce waste, or improve product quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as an Operator Packer or on a packing line within an FMCG or manufacturing environment, preferably in food & beverage.
- Solid understanding of both manual and mechanized packing processes, including machine set‑up and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail, high level of discipline, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in a shift system (including weekends) and comply with strict production timelines.
- Basic competency in inventory management, product packaging, quality assurance, and raw material handling.
