Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Operator Produksi to join our Departemen Lasting within a leading manufacturing organization. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and efficiency of the lasting process, a critical step in the production of footwear and other molded products. The successful candidate will work closely with production supervisors, quality control teams, and maintenance personnel to ensure that daily output meets both volume and precision targets.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor lasting machines, ensuring correct setup, calibration, and alignment for each production run.
- Inspect incoming materials and finished units for defects, documenting any irregularities and reporting them to the shift leader.
- Maintain accurate production logs, including batch numbers, machine settings, and output counts, to support traceability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance department to conduct spot checks and implement corrective actions when specifications are not met.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and participating in regular safety drills.
- Assist in training new team members, sharing best practices for efficient workflow and error reduction.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining a high level of attention to detail, speed, and discipline.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers to coordinate shift changes, material deliveries, and equipment issues.
- Contribute ideas for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost‑saving measures during team meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the footwear or related molding industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong attention to detail, quick decision‑making skills, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Willingness to meet and exceed production targets under tight schedules.
- Basic communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey operational information.
