We are seeking a dedicated Operator Sorter Ekspedisi to join our fast‑growing logistics team in Pacitan. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that parcels are accurately sorted, scanned, and prepared for timely delivery to customers across the region.
Responsibilities
- Sort incoming and outgoing packages according to designated area codes or delivery routes, maintaining strict adherence to routing guidelines.
- Load and unload goods from operational vehicles, including trucks and vans, while observing safety protocols and weight limits.
- Operate handheld scanning devices to record each parcel’s status in the company’s logistics system, guaranteeing real‑time visibility for dispatch and tracking.
- Arrange sorted packages neatly on pallets or conveyor belts, inspecting each item for damage and reporting any discrepancies.
- Assist senior supervisors with coordinated loading and unloading operations, ensuring that shipments are dispatched on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area by sweeping aisles, removing debris, and ensuring that all equipment is stored properly.
- Participate in daily briefings and follow all safety, security, and quality‑control procedures established by the warehouse management team.
- Provide occasional support to other departments, such as inventory counting or special handling of oversized items, when needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or an equivalent qualification.
- Age: 18‑40 years old; the role is open to male candidates as per operational policy.
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, interpret codes, and operate scanning equipment.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining package integrity.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to work a full schedule from Monday to Sunday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and the ability to follow clear instructions from supervisors.
