Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and answering initial queries.
- Accurately record customer orders, relay them to the kitchen, and confirm any special requests.
- Serve food and beverages according to presentation standards, ensuring temperature and portion accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and surrounding dining areas throughout service periods.
- Operate the POS or cash register, process payments (cash, card, e‑wallet), and issue receipts.
- Prepare end‑of‑day cash reports, reconcile transactions, and securely handle cash deposits.
- Assist with setting up dining stations, restocking utensils, and preparing condiments before each shift.
- Respond to guest inquiries or complaints with a positive, solution‑focused attitude, escalating issues when necessary.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen staff, bar personnel, and floor managers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including regular hand‑washing and equipment sanitization.
- Participate in briefings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 25 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, café, or retail cash handling role (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and late‑night hours (06:30 – 03:00).
- Proficiency with POS systems or cash registers; willingness to learn new technology quickly.
- Professional appearance, friendly demeanor, and a commitment to punctuality.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a high level of accuracy when handling orders and cash.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the capacity to work independently when required.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to create memorable dining experiences.
