Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Sales Representative for Mobile Phone Accessories (Outside City) to join our dynamic team in Palembang. This role focuses on expanding our market reach beyond the city centre, building strong relationships with partner outlets, and driving sales growth for a portfolio of high‑quality accessories. Ideal candidates are proactive, possess a solid understanding of the local market, and are eager to take ownership of new business development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, scheduled visits to partner kiosks and retail counters throughout the Palembang metropolitan area.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with store owners, managers, and sales staff to ensure a collaborative partnership.
- Deliver product education sessions, demonstrate key features, and provide hands‑on training to improve store staff knowledge and confidence.
- Execute promotional activities, including in‑store displays, limited‑time offers, and seasonal campaigns, to boost product visibility and sales.
- Identify, negotiate, and secure new retail locations, effectively opening and onboarding fresh outlets.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor pricing, product assortment, and emerging trends, and report findings to the regional sales manager.
- Prepare accurate daily and weekly sales reports, track order fulfillment, and follow up on pending payments.
- Provide feedback from the field to assist the marketing and product development teams in refining strategies and improving the product line.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates aged 24–35 years; applicants must be residents of Palembang (no migrant workers).
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in mobile accessories, consumer electronics, or a related field.
- Own a reliable motorcycle and hold a valid SIM C license for travel across the city.
- Deep familiarity with Palembang’s districts, commercial zones, and retail networks.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and to develop strategic marketing insights.
- Not currently enrolled in, nor planning to enroll in, any academic program.
