Kedai Kopi Jakarta Barat is seeking an enthusiastic Part‑Time Barista to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑over coffees, and cold brews following our standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work station, including coffee machines, grinders, and display areas, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions, operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and accurately process orders while delivering friendly, personalized service.
- Educate customers on coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods, helping them make informed choices and enhancing their overall café experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, milk, syrups, and consumables; notify the manager when re‑stocking is required.
- Collaborate with teammates to manage peak‑hour traffic efficiently, ensuring short wait times and consistent product quality.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new drink offerings, equipment maintenance, and emerging coffee trends.
- Adhere to all food safety protocols, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitization of equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience as a barista in a café or similar hospitality setting.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent qualification.
- Age 30 years or younger; candidates must be able to demonstrate the energy and stamina required for a fast‑moving environment.
- Residency in Jakarta, preferably in West Jakarta, to ensure reliable punctuality.
