Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Housekeeping Attendant – Guest Room Service to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and guest comfort across all hotel areas, including guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment, collaborating with housekeeping supervisors and other hotel departments to ensure every guest experiences a spotless and welcoming stay.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms according to the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and bathroom sanitation.
- Replace and refresh all linens, towels, and amenities, ensuring they meet brand quality standards.
- Inspect rooms for any damage or maintenance issues, document findings, and promptly report them to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance team.
- Restock mini‑bars, coffee makers, toiletries, and other in‑room supplies, keeping inventory logs up to date.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms, adhering to scheduled cleaning rotations.
- Follow proper waste segregation and disposal procedures, supporting the hotel’s sustainability initiatives.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including the correct use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
- Participate in daily briefings, communicate any guest requests or special instructions, and cooperate with night‑shift teams for seamless handovers.
- Assist with deep‑cleaning projects, carpet shampooing, and seasonal tasks as assigned.
- Uphold a professional appearance, wear the provided uniform, and represent the hotel’s brand values at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18 – 35 years old.
- Gender: All genders welcome.
- Experience: At least 1 year of housekeeping or hospitality cleaning experience.
- Shift Availability: Willingness to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night), including weekends and public holidays.
- Key Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, good time‑management, and a honest, trustworthy attitude.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 kg for extended periods.
- Language: Basic proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
