Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Promotor Penjualan Rokok to join our sales team in Salatiga. This role is essential for strengthening our brand presence in retail environments, ensuring product visibility, and driving direct sales to meet ambitious market targets. The successful candidate will act as the face of our brand on the shop floor, collaborating closely with store managers, distributors, and the internal marketing department.
Responsibilities
- Arrange, maintain, and refresh product displays to ensure optimal visual appeal and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels on a daily basis, report shortages, and coordinate replenishment with the logistics team.
- Conduct direct selling activities, engaging customers, answering product queries, and converting interest into sales.
- Execute sales and marketing programs, including promotional offers, loyalty schemes, and seasonal campaigns.
- Install and manage point‑of‑sale materials (POSM), signage, and branding equipment in stores and high‑traffic areas.
- Assist in the planning and execution of store events, product launches, and brand activation activities.
- Identify and report new opportunities for POSM placement, additional promotional material, or special events based on market conditions.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and weekly reports on sales performance, stock status, and promotional effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to the marketing department on consumer trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for product improvement.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding responsible marketing of tobacco products and comply with local regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 35 years or younger.
- Gender: Male (as specified by local labor regulations for this role).
- At least 1 year of experience in retail sales, merchandising, or a similar promotional position.
- Valid driver’s license and personal motor vehicle for travel between assigned outlets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, including occasional overtime for events.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and inventory tracking.
