Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Gym Receptionist who will also serve as a cashier handling sales transactions and guest services. This full‑time role is based in the vibrant South Kuta area, with the possibility of placement in the scenic Raw Uluwatu location. As the first point of contact for members, visitors, and potential clients, you will play a crucial role in shaping the gym’s reputation for excellence, friendliness, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Greet members and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor and assist them throughout their visit.
- Manage check‑ins, membership renewals, class bookings, and trial session registrations using the gym’s management software.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond promptly to messages, and forward inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Process cash, credit‑card, and digital payments for memberships, merchandise, and on‑site services while maintaining accurate daily transaction records.
- Provide clear information about class schedules, personal‑training packages, promotional offers, and facility amenities.
- Maintain a tidy, organized reception area, including brochures, promotional material, and hygiene supplies.
- Coordinate with trainers, maintenance staff, and management to ensure smooth daily operations and resolve any member concerns.
- Generate end‑of‑day financial reports, reconcile cash drawers, and submit them to accounting for audit.
- Assist in organizing special events, open houses, and member appreciation days.
- Continuously update personal knowledge of fitness trends, new equipment, and health‑safety protocols to better serve members.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- No age limit; all genders are welcome.
- Prior experience in a reception or cashier role is preferred but not mandatory; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; basic proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is also required.
- Positive, customer‑oriented attitude with the ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously.
- Basic computer literacy: Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with gym‑management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings (06:30‑15:00) and occasional weekend shifts.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate payment handling and record‑keeping.
- Willingness to undergo a 3‑month probation period during which performance and fit for the role will be evaluated.
- Willing to be based in South Kuta and relocate to Raw Uluwatu if required.
