Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Sales Officer – Perbankan to join our dynamic team in Jambi. This role is a key driver of our retail banking growth, focusing on both digital and traditional loan products. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, guiding small‑business owners, private‑sector employees, and micro‑enterprise clients through the loan application process while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and educate new and existing BTPN customers on the SO Digital loan product, offering unsecured financing up to IDR 50 million.
  • Identify and approach micro‑entrepreneurs, private‑sector employees, and other non‑civil‑service clients who qualify for the digital loan solution.
  • Present and sell the SO Maxi BTPN loan portfolio, providing secured financing ranging from IDR 300 million to IDR 1 billion, ensuring borrowers submit appropriate collateral such as land deeds or vehicle certificates.
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses, collect required documentation, and verify client eligibility against BTPN’s credit policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions in the daai.id system, achieving a minimum daily activity compliance rate of 70 %.
  • Collaborate with the credit underwriting team to expedite loan approvals while adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting pipeline status, conversion rates, and any obstacles faced.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product enhancements, market trends, and best‑practice sales techniques.
  • Provide post‑sale support, ensuring borrowers understand repayment schedules and fostering long‑term relationships for future cross‑selling opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Maximum age of 35 years.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in banking sales, micro‑finance, or B2B product marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural marketing, B2B sales, and retail banking products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and persuasive selling abilities.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with digital CRM platforms (e.g., daai.id) and basic MS Office applications.

  • Strong ethical standards, with a commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
