Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Staf Gizi Klinis – Pengelolaan Nutrisi Pasien to join our multidisciplinary team at a leading healthcare facility in Surakarta. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every patient receives personalized nutritional care that supports recovery, enhances overall health, and aligns with clinical protocols. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and support staff to deliver evidence‑based nutrition services in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for in‑patient and out‑patient populations, including anthropometric measurements, dietary histories, and laboratory data analysis.
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans that address medical conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, malnutrition, and postoperative recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to integrate nutrition interventions into overall treatment pathways.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers, emphasizing culturally appropriate food choices and portion control.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed and ensuring accurate entry into the hospital’s electronic health record system.
- Manage the inventory of nutrition‑related supplies, including therapeutic formulas, feeding tubes, and dietary supplements, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, quality improvement projects, and research initiatives aimed at optimizing nutritional outcomes.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control policies, food safety regulations, and hospital hygiene standards in all nutrition‑related activities.
- Assist in the preparation of menus, special diet orders, and therapeutic meal plans that meet the culinary standards of the facility.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging nutrition science, local dietary customs, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; SMK Jurusan Tata Boga is considered an advantageous background.
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Religious affiliation: Must be a practicing Muslim, as the institution observes Islamic dietary guidelines.
- Age: No upper limit; applicants must be physically and mentally fit to perform duties.
- Experience: Entry‑level candidates are welcome; however, any prior exposure to clinical nutrition, food service, or health‑care administration is a plus.
- Key personal attributes: Honesty, discipline, agility, strong ethical standards, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Residency: Must reside in Surakarta or surrounding areas to ensure reliable attendance.
