Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Representative – District (Batam) to join our fast‑growing retail team. This role is responsible for driving sales performance across a defined geographic area, building lasting customer relationships, and representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. The position operates on a Tuesday‑to‑Sunday schedule, 09:00‑18:00, offering a dynamic work environment where ambition is rewarded.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the assigned district, employing cold‑calling, networking events, and digital outreach to build a robust pipeline.
- Sales Execution: Conduct product demonstrations, negotiate pricing, and close deals to consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Nurture long‑term relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction, repeat purchases, and referral generation.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate sales records, submit regular performance reports, and provide insights to senior management for strategic planning.
- Territory Maintenance: Oversee product merchandising, inventory levels, and visual presentation in retail outlets throughout the district to maximize brand visibility.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, logistics, and after‑sales support teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer service.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 (associate or bachelor’s degree) in any discipline.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven sales or territory‑management experience, preferably within the electronics retail sector (e.g., Erajaya Retail).
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and articulate detailed product specifications and value propositions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated capacity to build rapport, earn trust, and deliver superior customer service.
- Organizational Ability: Proven time‑management skills to efficiently cover a large district and prioritize tasks.
