In this role you will act as a key guardian of our financial data, ensuring that daily transactions, periodic reports, and compliance obligations are handled with accuracy and timeliness.
Responsibilities
- Record all daily cash inflows and outflows, guaranteeing that every transaction is captured in the general ledger.
- Prepare and distribute regular financial statements—including daily cash reports, weekly variance analyses, and monthly profit‑and‑loss summaries—to management and operational teams.
- Conduct bank and cash reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Manage the invoice lifecycle: receive, verify, code, and process vendor invoices; oversee payment cycles and monitor accounts receivable aging.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring journal entries are accurate and supporting documentation is complete.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents, supporting audit readiness.
- Collaborate closely with the operations department to provide financial insights that aid in budgeting, cost control, and strategic decision‑making.
- Monitor adherence to internal financial policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Support ad‑hoc financial analysis projects, such as cost‑benefit evaluations, pricing assessments, and cash‑flow forecasting.
- Continuously improve accounting processes by recommending automation tools, best‑practice procedures, and efficiency enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in corporate accounting; recent graduates with strong internships are also considered.
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and cost accounting concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data visualization) and familiarity with accounting software packages.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present findings clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail, honesty, and a high degree of accountability.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross‑functional team.
- Comfortable meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
