Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and professional Staff Apotek to join our pharmacy team in Kepanjen Wilayah. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail‑pharmacy environment that blends healthcare expertise with a strong focus on beauty and personal care services. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe medication dispensing, providing accurate health advice, and delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medications in accordance with Indonesian pharmacy regulations and company SOPs.
  • Verify prescription authenticity, check for potential drug interactions, and counsel patients on proper dosage, side effects, and storage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular stock counts, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
  • Provide professional beauty‑related consultations, recommending appropriate skin‑care, cosmetic, and wellness products based on client needs.
  • Handle cash transactions, process electronic payments, and ensure the pharmacy’s point‑of‑sale system is updated daily.
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists, other pharmacy staff, and retail associates to foster a seamless workflow and a positive customer experience.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on new medication releases, regulatory updates, and emerging beauty trends.
  • Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards, including proper handling of controlled substances and compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory documentation, such as the renewal of the STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) and the SIP (Surat Izin Praktik) when required.
  • Contribute ideas for store layout improvements, promotional campaigns, and community health outreach programs.

Requirements

  • Female candidates are preferred due to the specific client demographic served.
  • Minimum educational qualification: D3 in Nursing (Keperawatan) or equivalent; D4 is a plus.
  • Active STR (pharmacy registration) and willingness to obtain or renew SIP (practice permit) promptly.
  • At least 0‑2 years of experience in the beauty or cosmetic industry, with a solid understanding of skin‑care products and client counseling.
  • Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and pharmacy management software.
