Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming merchandise, verifying quantities against purchase orders and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintain a systematic and up‑to‑date inventory database using the store management system, ensuring real‑time visibility of stock levels.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, reconciling differences and implementing corrective actions.
- Organize storage areas to maximize space utilization, applying proper labeling, shelving, and safety protocols.
- Prepare and process outbound shipments, coordinating with logistics partners to guarantee timely delivery.
- Monitor stock expiration dates and implement first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) or last‑in‑first‑out (LIFO) strategies as appropriate.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review, highlighting trends, shortages, and overstock situations.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to forecast demand, recommend reorder points, and suggest cost‑saving measures.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, responding promptly to inquiries about product availability.
- Uphold health, safety, and security standards by conducting routine inspections and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in inventory management or storekeeping.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using store management software and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to prioritize local candidates and demonstrate a commitment to community employment.
- Physical capability to lift moderate weights and perform routine warehouse activities.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime as needed.
