Responsibilities
- Vehicle Operation: Drive heavy‑duty trucks on local and long‑distance routes, adhering to schedules and maintaining safe driving practices.
- Pre‑Trip and En‑Route Inspections: Conduct thorough checks of oil, tires, brakes, fuel levels, and safety equipment before departure, during stops, and after each trip.
- Cargo Management: Supervise loading and unloading, secure cargo with straps or nets, and verify that all goods are protected against damage.
- Light Maintenance: Perform routine tasks such as tire changes, minor repairs, and cleaning of the cabin and cargo area.
- Documentation: Complete trip sheets, delivery notes, mileage logs, and fuel consumption reports accurately and submit them to the operations supervisor.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow traffic laws, company safety policies, and industry regulations; report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly.
- Cleanliness: Keep both the interior cabin and the truck’s cargo box clean and organized to maintain a professional appearance.
- Customer Interaction: Represent the company courteously when delivering goods, address basic inquiries, and obtain signatures when required.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational requirements).
- Driving experience: At least 1 year of professional truck driving experience, preferably on long‑haul routes.
- Valid and active SIM A or B1 (general) license.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to focus for extended periods.
- Good knowledge of regional road networks, GPS navigation, and map reading.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
- High level of discipline, responsibility, and problem‑solving ability for emergency repairs or route adjustments.
