Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Wali Asrama Senior dan Koordinator Kehidupan Mahasiswa to join our vibrant residential education community. This senior dormitory warden will serve as the primary guardian and mentor for students living on campus, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and academically supportive environment. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, possesses a solid foundation in Arabic, and has a background in pesantren (Islamic boarding school) culture. This role combines day‑to‑day supervision with strategic planning of student life programs, fostering character development, discipline, and language proficiency among our santri.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the dormitory, including room assignments, cleanliness standards, and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement comprehensive student‑life programs that promote personal growth, cultural awareness, and academic excellence.
- Provide mentorship and counseling to students, guiding them in character building, discipline, and effective language use in both Indonesian and Arabic.
- Coordinate with academic staff to align extracurricular activities with curriculum goals, ensuring a holistic educational experience.
- Manage and supervise junior staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and professional team environment.
- Prepare regular reports on student welfare, attendance, and incident handling for senior management.
- Maintain a residence that respects Islamic values while encouraging modern educational practices.
- Organize cultural, religious, and recreational events that enhance community spirit and intercultural competence.
- Ensure compliance with all institutional policies, health regulations, and emergency procedures.
- Live on‑site to provide immediate support and act as a reliable point of contact for students and parents.
Requirements
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) with active communication skills.
- Proficiency in Arabic at a basic to intermediate level.
- Background in pesantren or similar Islamic boarding school environment.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) minimum; a university degree is preferred, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Female candidates only; unmarried status is required.
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, creativity, and innovation in student care.
- Ability to mentor and shape student character, discipline, and language habits.
- Willingness to reside within the dormitory compound for the duration of employment.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Basic food and beverage service skills are advantageous.
