Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Kasir Penjualan Ritel to join our dynamic retail team. This role is pivotal in delivering a seamless checkout experience for our customers while upholding the highest standards of accuracy, honesty, and professionalism. As the frontline representative of our brand, the cashier not only handles monetary transactions but also contributes to the overall atmosphere of the store, ensuring each visitor feels welcomed and valued.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, applying discounts, and processing cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer, perform regular reconciliations, and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide clear and courteous communication with customers, answering product inquiries and assisting with returns or exchanges.
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies such as receipts, bags, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with floor staff to manage inventory flow, restock shelves, and flag low‑stock items for replenishment.
- Handle high‑traffic periods and peak shopping days with composure, meeting service speed targets without sacrificing accuracy.
- Support promotional campaigns by informing customers about current offers and upselling complementary products.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding loss prevention, data security, and health & safety regulations.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new POS features, product lines, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates aged 20‑30 years.
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred, though enthusiastic newcomers are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Comfortable operating under pressure, especially during busy periods such as weekends and promotional events.
- Proficiency with standard cashier systems and basic computer literacy.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
