Introduction
The Guru Madrasah Diniyah (Pengajar Mata Pelajaran Agama Islam) is a pivotal teaching position within our religious education institution. Working Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, the successful candidate will join a dedicated team of educators committed to excellence, moral integrity, and community service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in Islamic theology, Qur’an recitation, Hadith, and Fiqh for primary and secondary students.
- Prepare and evaluate lesson plans, assignments, and examinations that reflect both classical texts (kitab kuning) and contemporary educational standards.
- Guide students in mastering Nahwu‑Shorof (Arabic grammar) to ensure accurate understanding of primary sources.
- Facilitate extracurricular activities such as Quranic memorization circles, debate clubs, and community outreach programs.
- Maintain meticulous academic records, attendance logs, and progress reports in compliance with institutional policies.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and senior staff to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate Islamic values with subjects like history, language arts, and social studies.
- Participate in professional development workshops, seminars, and regular faculty meetings to stay current with pedagogical innovations.
- Uphold the institution’s code of conduct, demonstrating loyalty, integrity, and respect for cultural diversity.
- Provide mentorship and counseling to students, fostering a supportive environment that encourages personal and spiritual growth.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, or related field; a Master’s degree (S2) is highly preferred.
- Graduates from state‑run universities (PTN) are given priority.
- Proven ability to read and interpret kitab kuning, with strong command of Nahwu‑Shorof.
- At least five years of formal pesantren education or equivalent traditional Islamic schooling.
- Fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English is an advantage.
