Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Personal Assistant with strong Mandarin language proficiency to support our senior management team. Responsibilities
- Document Translation: Convert reports, contracts, emails, presentations, and technical manuals between Mandarin, Indonesian, and English while preserving meaning and tone.
- Live Interpretation: Serve as the primary interpreter during meetings, video conferences, negotiations, and client visits, delivering clear and accurate real‑time translation.
- Cultural Adaptation: Adjust translations to reflect cultural nuances, ensuring messages resonate appropriately with target audiences.
- Coordination & Support: Liaise with internal teams and Mandarin‑speaking partners to schedule appointments, arrange travel, and facilitate smooth workflow.
- Terminology Research: Conduct in‑depth research on industry‑specific jargon, technical terms, and emerging vocabulary to maintain translation precision.
- Quality Assurance: Review all translated materials for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with corporate style guides.
- Confidentiality Management: Safeguard sensitive information in accordance with professional ethics and company policies.
- Administrative Duties: Manage calendars, prepare meeting minutes, handle database administration, and generate reports using Microsoft Office and database applications.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on linguistic trends, new software tools, and best practices in cross‑cultural communication.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field.
- Gender: Female.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in translation, interpretation, or executive assistance.
- Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) with the ability to translate both ways—Mandarin ↔ Indonesian/English.
- Proven confidence in acting as an interpreter during high‑stakes meetings and client visits.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database administration tools.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical standards.
