Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and personable Barista to join our premium coffee shop team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and seasonal specialty beverages in accordance with standardized recipes.
- Maintain an immaculate work station, ensuring all equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and milk frothers) is cleaned, calibrated, and operating at peak performance.
- Engage customers with a friendly demeanor, answer questions about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu items, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately record sales using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables; communicate restocking needs to the store manager.
- Adhere to food safety and health regulations, including proper storage temperatures, allergen awareness, and regular sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth shift transitions, share knowledge of new products, and support a cooperative workplace culture.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, taste tests, and coffee cupping events to deepen product knowledge and refine brewing techniques.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up the coffee bar, conducting end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, and securing the premises.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg when handling coffee bean bags or supply crates.
- Flexible schedule availability for Monday‑Saturday shifts, with occasional weekend events or promotions.
