Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Koordinator Housekeeping dan Kebersihan Hotel to join our hospitality team. This pivotal role ensures that our guests experience immaculate rooms, public areas, and a consistently clean environment that reflects the high standards of our four‑star property. As a coordinator, you will bridge the gap between operational staff and management, driving excellence in cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule daily housekeeping activities for a team of room attendants, public area cleaners, and laundry staff.
- Develop and enforce cleaning standards, SOPs, and health‑safety protocols in line with industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and back‑of‑house areas to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate with the Front Office to prioritize room turnovers, special requests, and VIP guest requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory of linens, cleaning chemicals, and equipment; place orders and manage stock levels to avoid shortages.
- Organize training sessions on proper cleaning techniques, sustainability initiatives, and safety procedures for new and existing staff.
- Prepare and present weekly performance reports, including productivity metrics, cost analysis, and guest feedback trends.
- Implement eco‑friendly practices such as waste segregation, water‑saving procedures, and use of biodegradable products.
- Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly, ensuring resolutions that exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to report and follow up on repair needs identified during inspections.
Requirements
- Active college or university student pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong command of English—both spoken and written—to communicate effectively with international guests and corporate stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and detail‑oriented with a passion for maintaining pristine environments.
- Creative problem‑solving abilities and a proactive, positive attitude toward continuous improvement.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
- Open to candidates of any gender and educational level; prior housekeeping experience is a plus but not mandatory.
