Introduction

We are a leading Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) distributor operating across Jakarta and Tangerang, seeking dynamic Sales Representatives to join our growing team. This role focuses on building strong relationships with retail outlets, supermarkets, and independent restaurants, promoting a portfolio that includes both everyday consumer products and premium alcoholic beverages. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular visits to assigned outlets such as traditional convenience stores, modern supermarkets, and horeca (hotel‑restaurant‑café) establishments to present product ranges and secure orders.
  • Generate and process sales orders, ensuring accurate billing and timely order entry into the company’s ERP system.
  • Promote FMCG and alcoholic product lines, highlighting key features, promotional offers, and brand positioning to maximize shelf space and turnover.
  • Coordinate closely with the logistics and delivery teams to guarantee on‑time product dispatch, resolve delivery issues, and maintain optimal stock levels at customer locations.
  • Perform canvassing activities, including the transport of sample products and merchandising materials, to create visual appeal and drive impulse purchases.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, providing actionable insights to the sales manager for strategic planning.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date records of customer interactions, sales performance, and territory coverage using CRM tools.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to overall regional revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum senior high school (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Up to 35 years old; the overall posting allows candidates up to 40 years.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably handling modern trade (modern market) and horeca accounts.
  • Valid driver’s license (SIM C) and personal vehicle for territory coverage.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell FMCG and alcoholic beverages, with a strong understanding of product positioning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities.
  • Willingness to conduct field sales activities, including carrying product samples and merchandising displays.
