Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Waiter – Layanan Pelanggan Restoran to join our dynamic front‑of‑house team. This full‑time position is based in a bustling city‑center restaurant that serves a diverse clientele ranging from families to business travelers. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly, courteous demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, repeat them back to guests to confirm, and input them into the POS system efficiently.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes, addressing any special dietary requests or allergies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked service station, including silverware, glassware, and napkins.
- Monitor table turnover, clear used dishes, and reset tables quickly to maximize seating capacity.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve minor complaints on the spot, and escalate more complex issues to the floor manager.
- Promote daily specials, upsell complementary items such as desserts or beverages, and contribute to meeting sales targets.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, including proper handwashing and use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up dining areas, polishing glassware, and conducting end‑of‑day cash reconciliation.
- Continuously update product knowledge through regular training sessions and menu tastings.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Applicants must be within the legal working age; no maximum age limit is imposed.
- Gender: Female candidates are preferred; female staff must wear the hijab in accordance with company policy.
- Experience: Prior experience in food and beverage service is advantageous but not mandatory; we welcome enthusiastic newcomers.
- Key Skills:
