Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Ingredients: Wash, peel, slice, dice, and portion vegetables, meats, and spices before the start of service.
  • Food Cooking: Execute menu items according to the café’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and recipe specifications, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
  • Plating and Presentation: Arrange dishes attractively, verify that each plate meets the visual standards before it reaches the customer.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Keep the workstation, cooking equipment, and storage areas spotless; wash utensils, manage waste disposal, and uphold strict hygiene protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct routine stock checks, report low‑stock items, assist with receiving and unloading deliveries, and help rotate inventory to minimize waste.
  • SOP and Food Safety Compliance: Follow health regulations, prevent cross‑contamination, and maintain accurate documentation of cleaning schedules.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with chefs, servers, and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
  • Physical Stamina: Stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and move quickly in a busy environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: No upper limit; applicants of any age are encouraged to apply.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Work experience: Entry‑level (0 years) – we provide thorough on‑the‑job training.
  • Core skills: Basic cooking techniques, proficient knife skills, ability to follow recipes accurately.
  • Soft skills: Strong work discipline, quick decision‑making under pressure, reliable attendance, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Physical requirements: Good stamina, ability to lift up to 15 kg, and endurance for long shifts.
  • Work schedule: Monday to Sunday, 08:00 – 16:00.
