Introduction

To support our continued growth and maintain the highest standards of inventory control, we are seeking an experienced Kepala Gudang (Warehouse Manager) to lead our warehouse operations in Jayapura.
This pivotal role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and hands‑on management to ensure that our supply chain runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The successful candidate will be a results‑oriented professional with a solid background in distribution or logistics, strong computer skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve accuracy, reduce errors, and increase throughput.
- Manage inventory control processes, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies using SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and transportation departments to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and safety drills.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rate, on‑time delivery, and inventory turnover, reporting results to senior management.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and proper labeling to facilitate quick access and reduce handling time.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, equipment upgrades, or layout redesign to optimize space utilization.
- Prepare and manage the warehouse budget, controlling costs related to labor, equipment maintenance, and consumables.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or senior warehouse supervisor in a distribution or logistics company.
- Strong leadership qualities: ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and make decisive decisions under pressure.
- Proficient computer skills; advanced knowledge of SAP or comparable warehouse management software is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Integrity, honesty, and a high level of commitment to the company’s goals.
- Male candidates (as per current company policy) with no upper age limit.
- Willingness to work in Jayapura, with a schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00.
- Relevant soft skills: strong communication, problem‑solving aptitude, and the ability to adapt to fast‑changing operational demands.
