Responsibilities
- Transport goods from our central warehouse to customers across designated long‑distance routes, ensuring delivery aligns with the invoice details and customer expectations.
- Pick up and process returned merchandise according to the company’s return‑handling forms, verifying condition and completing necessary documentation.
- Conduct hand‑over of parcels and invoices with warehouse staff and expedition administrators, confirming receipt and accuracy before departure.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, including invoices, PBKB (Surat Jalan), and return forms, and submit them to the logistics coordinator in a timely manner.
- Perform daily pre‑trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on the assigned vehicle to guarantee roadworthiness, reporting any defects immediately.
- Plan optimal routes using GPS and local knowledge of delivery zones, minimizing fuel consumption while meeting delivery windows.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing inquiries, obtaining signatures, and resolving minor issues on‑site.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, company safety policies, and the use of personal protective equipment when loading or unloading cargo.
- Collaborate with dispatchers, warehouse managers, and administrative staff to coordinate schedules, resolve discrepancies, and improve overall delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in long‑distance or inter‑city freight transport.
- Valid Indonesian Driving License: SIM A or SIM B1, with no restrictions.
- Strong familiarity with the delivery areas/rayons you will cover, including major highways and regional routes.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational skills to handle multiple deliveries and paperwork efficiently.
- Core personal attributes: honesty, discipline, responsibility, and effective communication.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime or urgent deliveries.
- Physical stamina to load and unload goods safely and to perform vehicle checks.
