We are seeking a dedicated Guru Les Privat Matematika Cambridge Kelas 9 SMP to join our reputable tutoring center located in Perumahan Pesanggrahan Pratama, Karangploso, Malang. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons, provide personalized feedback, and inspire confidence in learners while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and punctuality.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver tailored private mathematics lessons for 9th‑grade students, aligning with the Cambridge syllabus and focusing on problem‑solving, algebra, geometry, and data analysis.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and informal observations, and adjust teaching strategies to address individual learning gaps.
- Prepare supplementary teaching materials, including practice worksheets, visual aids, and interactive digital resources to reinforce core concepts.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing detailed progress reports and actionable recommendations for at‑home study.
- Maintain a disciplined yet supportive classroom environment, ensuring punctuality, attendance, and adherence to the agreed teaching schedule.
- Collaborate with other tutors and center staff to share best practices, participate in professional development workshops, and contribute to the overall quality of the educational program.
- Manage logistical aspects such as lesson planning, travel to the tutoring location, and timely submission of administrative documents.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; current university students in relevant programs are also welcome.
- At least one year (or two semesters) of proven teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with Cambridge or similar international curricula.
- Strong command of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly to junior high students.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English to support Cambridge terminology.
- Professional demeanor, honesty, and strict adherence to time management and scheduling commitments.
- Personal vehicle for reliable transportation to the tutoring venue.
- Neat appearance and a professional attitude that sets a positive example for students.
