Introduction

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer‑focused individuals to join our café team as Part‑time Baristas. This role is ideal for students, homemakers, or anyone seeking flexible hours while gaining valuable experience in a vibrant hospitality environment. As a barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, delivering high‑quality beverages and exceptional service to every guest.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and espresso‑based drinks according to standardized recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, workstations, and dining area throughout the shift.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Manage inventory levels, restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies, and report shortages to the supervisor.
  • Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately record sales in the POS system.
  • Greet customers with a friendly attitude, take orders, and provide product recommendations based on individual preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties, such as cash reconciliation, equipment cleaning, and preparing the café for the next service.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain a smooth workflow during peak periods.
  • Continuously develop barista skills through on‑the‑job training and coffee education sessions.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Gender: Female (as specified by the employer).
  • Professional appearance – clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
  • Strong teamwork orientation with a positive, can‑do attitude.
  • Disciplined, honest, and reliable; able to follow schedules and company policies.
  • Willingness to work morning or afternoon shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and move quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Commitment to a minimum of four working days per week, with availability from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
  • Basic barista skills or a strong desire to learn coffee preparation techniques.
  • Good time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
