Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and espresso‑based drinks according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, workstations, and dining area throughout the shift.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels, restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies, and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately record sales in the POS system.
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude, take orders, and provide product recommendations based on individual preferences.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, such as cash reconciliation, equipment cleaning, and preparing the café for the next service.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain a smooth workflow during peak periods.
- Continuously develop barista skills through on‑the‑job training and coffee education sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as specified by the employer).
- Professional appearance – clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Strong teamwork orientation with a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Disciplined, honest, and reliable; able to follow schedules and company policies.
- Willingness to work morning or afternoon shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and move quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to a minimum of four working days per week, with availability from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Basic barista skills or a strong desire to learn coffee preparation techniques.
- Good time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
