Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new potential borrowers in the Haurgeulis district, introducing them to Amartha’s micro‑loan products and explaining the benefits of joining our platform.
  • Conduct on‑site economic counseling for existing members, helping households manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning to improve repayment capacity.
  • Perform detailed field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting standards, risk‑assessment procedures, and regulatory policies.
  • Prepare and submit accurate loan proposals and documentation to the credit assessment team, highlighting key financial indicators and repayment forecasts.
  • Coordinate the collection process, following up with borrowers on repayment schedules, negotiating payment plans when necessary, and reporting delinquency trends to the operations manager.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date records of all client interactions in the company’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and facilitating real‑time monitoring of portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with local community leaders, cooperatives, and partner NGOs to foster trust and create a supportive ecosystem for micro‑entrepreneurs.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and workshops to stay current with digital financing tools, market trends, and best practices in financial inclusion.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: 18‑30 years old.
  • Gender: Open to all genders; female candidates are highly encouraged.
  • Valid personal vehicle and a clean driving record for daily field visits.
  • Strong integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in remote locations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport quickly.
  • Resilience and discipline to manage a demanding field schedule (Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00).
  • Basic digital literacy – comfortable using mobile applications, spreadsheets, and CRM platforms.
  • Prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, or community outreach is a plus but not required.
