We are looking for a dynamic and creative Guru Les Matematika Privat who can inspire high‑school (SMA) and vocational (SMK) students to master mathematical concepts and develop a lifelong love for numbers. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver personalized mathematics lessons for individual or small‑group sessions, aligning with the national curriculum and any relevant vocational standards.
- Assess each student’s strengths and weaknesses through diagnostic tests, homework reviews, and regular progress reports.
- Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate interactive problem‑solving, real‑world applications, and technology‑enhanced tools such as graphing calculators or online platforms.
- Provide clear explanations of core topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics, ensuring concepts are accessible to learners of varying abilities.
- Monitor and record student performance, offering constructive feedback to both learners and their parents or guardians.
- Stay current with curriculum updates, examination formats, and emerging pedagogical techniques to continuously improve instructional quality.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and the academic coordinator to share best practices, develop supplemental learning materials, and organize enrichment activities such as math contests or workshops.
- Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and child‑friendly atmosphere that encourages curiosity and active participation.
- Adhere to scheduled working hours (Monday‑Saturday, 09:00‑18:00) and manage time efficiently to balance teaching duties with administrative responsibilities.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.
- Age: Up to 30 years old (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Experience: At least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably with high‑school or vocational students.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- Core Skills: Strong command of mathematical content, ability to simplify complex topics, and proficiency with modern educational technologies.
- Personal Traits: Passion for youth education, initiative, creativity, innovation, and excellent communication skills.
