Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students’ academic, social, emotional, and career concerns.
- Develop and implement comprehensive guidance programs, including workshops on study skills, stress management, and ethical decision‑making.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to identify at‑risk students and design timely intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records, preparing reports for parents, teachers, and school leadership.
- Organize career fairs, university visits, and scholarship information sessions to support post‑secondary planning.
- Conduct regular classroom presentations on topics such as bullying prevention, substance‑free living, and moral development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing insights from a counseling perspective to improve overall school climate.
- Stay current with educational policies, counseling techniques, and Islamic values to ensure best practices are applied.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Psychology, or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Age limit: maximum 35 years.
- Gender: open to all genders.
- Faith: Must be Muslim (male or female) and demonstrate a commitment to Islamic principles.
- Personal conduct: Non‑smoker, possesses exemplary moral character (berakhlaqul kariman), and skilled in reciting the Al‑Qur’an.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational abilities, empathy, and a passion for youth development.
- Proficiency in using digital counseling tools and Microsoft Office suite.
