Introduction
The Supervisor Pengembangan Program Pendidikan dan Kurikulum will serve as the operational and instructional leader for Sakamoto Balikpapan’s two education centers. This pivotal role combines administrative oversight, curriculum quality assurance, and team mentorship to ensure that every student receives high‑quality, results‑driven tutoring. Reporting directly to the owner, the supervisor will act as the bridge between senior management, teaching staff, and support personnel, guaranteeing that daily operations run smoothly and that the educational standards of the Sakamoto brand are consistently upheld.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of teachers and administrative staff across both Sakamoto Balikpapan centers.
- Monitor and verify all administrative processes, including lesson scheduling, tuition payments, inventory checks, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular classroom observations to evaluate teaching methods, lesson preparation, student progress reports, and adherence to the Enhanced Homework Benchmark (EHB) system.
- Step in as a substitute instructor when teachers are absent due to illness or personal leave, ensuring continuity of instruction.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly operational reports to the owner, highlighting key performance indicators, attendance trends, and any operational challenges.
- Oversee the smooth execution of all tutoring sessions, troubleshooting scheduling conflicts and ensuring that each lesson starts and ends on time.
- Facilitate continuous professional development by organizing training sessions, workshops, and peer‑review meetings for teachers.
- Collaborate with curriculum designers to adapt and enhance learning materials, aligning them with national standards and the specific needs of our student population.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, enforcing health and safety protocols and promoting a culture of respect and academic excellence.
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, addressing concerns, providing progress updates, and fostering strong community relationships.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics, Engineering, Natural Sciences (MIPA), or a closely related field.
- Age: 27‑40 years old.

- Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position within an educational institution.

- Training: Must successfully complete the KPO Sakamoto training program prior to assuming full duties.
- Work Schedule: Monday‑Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
