Responsibilities
- Greeting guests warmly, presenting menus, and providing detailed explanations of daily specials.
- Taking orders accurately using handheld devices or traditional order sheets, and confirming any special dietary requests.
- Coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages.
- Monitoring tables throughout service, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and attending to any additional guest needs promptly.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station, including polishing cutlery, arranging table settings, and adhering to hygiene standards.
- Processing payments, issuing receipts, and handling cash or card transactions with precision.
- Collaborating closely with fellow wait staff, hosts, and management to achieve a seamless flow of service during peak hours.
- Reporting any guest complaints or service issues to the supervisor immediately and following up to ensure resolution.
- Participating in regular training sessions, menu tastings, and safety briefings to stay updated on product knowledge and service protocols.
- Upholding the restaurant’s brand image by wearing the prescribed uniform, maintaining a professional demeanor, and demonstrating a positive attitude at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Male candidates only, as per the specific operational needs of the venue.
- Age limit: up to 30 years old (flexible for candidates with relevant experience).
- No current contractual obligations with other employers (non‑bound).
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and respond to customer requests with a sense of urgency.
- Proven teamwork mindset – able to coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, and fellow service staff.
- Friendly, polite, and patient demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order taking and efficient service.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage handling, hygiene standards, and safe serving practices.
