Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Development Officer to join our team in the NTB (Nusa Tenggara Barat) region. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption of hybrid corn seed products and related agricultural solutions across Bima, Plampangan/Labangka, Moyo Raya, Dompu, and Lombok. The ideal candidate will thrive in a field‑based environment, engaging directly with farmers, kiosks, and local distributors to boost market penetration and strengthen brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional marketing plan focused on hybrid corn seed sales, aligning with corporate growth targets.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key distributors, R1 and R2 channel partners, and local agricultural kiosks.
- Conduct on‑site product demonstrations, field days, and farmer training sessions to showcase the benefits of high‑yield corn varieties.
- Gather market intelligence on planting cycles, competitor activities, and emerging agronomic trends in the NTB region.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecast demand, and propose adjustments to inventory and promotional strategies.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback from the field, influencing future seed and pesticide offerings.
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and promotional incentives with distributors and large farming cooperatives.
- Maintain a personal vehicle and valid SIM C to travel across remote locations, ensuring consistent coverage of all target areas.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, health, and safety while working outdoors under varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- Male candidates aged 20‑45 years (all genders are welcome to apply).
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 or S1 degree in Agriculture is preferred.
- Residency in the NTB region (Bima, Plampangan/Labangka, Moyo Raya, Dompu, or Lombok).
- Proven experience in marketing hybrid corn seed; experience with pesticides is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of local corn production potentials and familiarity with R1/R2 distribution channels.
- Possession of a valid SIM C and a reliable motorcycle for field travel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a talent for farmer outreach and extension services.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable working independently in remote locations.
- Good physical and mental health to endure long hours in the field.
- Ability to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
