Introduction
Trans Studio Mall Cibubur is seeking enthusiastic and customer‑focused individuals to join our vibrant café team as full‑time Baristas. This role is ideal for recent graduates or anyone with a passion for coffee culture, hospitality, and delivering memorable service in a fast‑paced retail environment. As a Barista at our flagship location, you will become an integral part of the daily operations that keep our guests energized and satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale system to process cash, card, and mobile transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare a wide range of coffee‑based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using espresso machines, grinders, and milk frothers, ensuring consistency with brand standards.
- Assemble and garnish food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and snacks, maintaining visual appeal and hygiene.
- Deliver orders promptly to customers’ tables or designated pick‑up areas, confirming order accuracy and offering courteous service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including regular wiping of equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and adhering to health‑safety protocols.
- Perform general cleaning duties across the café floor, restrooms, and back‑of‑house areas during shift changes.
- Conduct daily stock checks, record inventory levels, and assist with restocking supplies to avoid shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to manage peak‑hour traffic, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal wait times.
- Engage with customers, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new menu items, equipment upgrades, and service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age limit: maximum 26 years old.
- Open to all genders; diversity and inclusion are valued.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior barista experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reside near the Trans Studio Mall Cibubur area or be willing to commute.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑moving, team‑oriented environment.
- Strong multitasking skills, able to juggle order preparation, cash handling, and cleaning simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take initiative without constant supervision.
- Well‑groomed appearance and adherence to a neat uniform policy.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts (opening, middle, closing), weekends, public holidays, and special events.
- Ability to work independently when required, as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, steam wands) and willingness to learn advanced barista techniques.
