Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Staf Penagihan – Area Tarakan to join our dynamic credit and collections team. Based in the vibrant Tarakan region, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the company’s financial health by managing the overdue portfolio with professionalism and empathy. Responsibilities
- Independent Area Management: Take full ownership of the assigned collection area, developing daily action plans, prioritizing overdue accounts, and ensuring timely follow‑up.
- Field Visits to Overdue Clients: Conduct on‑site visits to understand client circumstances, verify contact information, and reinforce the importance of repayment.
- Negotiation & Restructuring: Engage with borrowers to negotiate payment arrangements, propose restructuring solutions, and achieve mutually beneficial settlements while adhering to company policies.
- Creditworthiness Analysis: Assess each client’s repayment capacity by reviewing financial statements, cash flow patterns, and external credit data to recommend appropriate collection actions.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed daily and weekly reports, documenting client interactions, agreements reached, and outstanding balances for senior management review.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with credit, legal, and risk departments to ensure consistent handling of delinquent accounts and to support escalation processes when necessary.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify trends in overdue accounts, propose process enhancements, and participate in training sessions to stay current with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Maximum age: 32 years.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational policy).
- Entry‑level candidates are welcome; no prior collection experience required, though a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Core skills: Rapid adaptation to changing situations, reliable driving ability, and proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, persuasive negotiation, empathy, strong analytical mindset, and high integrity.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within the Tarakan area as needed.
