Introduction
We are a growing dental and pharmacy care center located in the heart of Ajung, Jenggawah, and Tempurejo. We are seeking a motivated and personable Assistant Dentist and Pharmacy Assistant (Asisten Dokter Gigi dan Tenaga Kefarmasian) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a young professional who is eager to develop clinical skills, interact with patients, and support both dental and pharmaceutical operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and surgeries by preparing instruments, arranging materials, and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Manage patient flow: greet patients, verify appointments, and collect medical histories in a confidential manner.
- Perform basic dental radiography, develop images, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Maintain strict infection‑control protocols, including sterilization of dental handpieces, trays, and other reusable equipment.
- Prepare and dispense prescribed medications in the on‑site pharmacy, ensuring proper labeling, dosage verification, and patient counseling.
- Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and pharmaceutical stock, place orders, and conduct regular stock audits.
- Assist in patient education on oral hygiene practices, post‑treatment care, and appropriate medication usage.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing assistance, and updating electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment, adhering to local health regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, workshops, and community outreach programs to stay current with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (per clinic policy).
- Marital status: Unmarried.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) with a focus on Nursing (Keperawatan) or Pharmacy (Farmasi).
- Age: Up to 25 years old.
- Residence: Preferably living in or near Ajung, Jenggawah, or Tempurejo.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, pleasant appearance.
- Ability to ride a motorbike safely and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Basic knowledge of health management principles and patient confidentiality.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work under supervision.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a team‑oriented environment.
