Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Kasir Penjualan Retail who brings at least one year of hands‑on experience in customer‑focused sales environments. This full‑time position is based in Kopeng, where you will join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service in a fast‑moving retail setting. The ideal candidate is disciplined, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling cash, electronic payments, and everyday interactions with a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, processing cash, credit, and digital transactions with 100 % accuracy.
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product questions and recommending suitable items.
  • Manage daily cash drawer reconciliation, ensuring that all sales match the recorded totals and reporting discrepancies promptly.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain a tidy checkout area, including stocking receipts, bags, and promotional materials.
  • Assist with inventory control by scanning and logging merchandise, reporting low‑stock items to the floor manager.
  • Collaborate with sales associates to resolve pricing issues, promotional discounts, and loyalty program inquiries.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, safety procedures, and new POS features.
  • Uphold store security protocols, such as monitoring suspicious activity and following loss‑prevention guidelines.
  • Contribute to a collaborative work environment by communicating effectively with peers and supervisors.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience as a retail cashier or in a similar customer‑service role.
  • Strong numeracy skills and proficiency with cash handling and POS systems.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with a courteous and patient attitude toward all customers.
  • High level of discipline, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
  • Open to candidates of any gender; inclusivity is a core value.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software is a plus.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 20 kg when needed.
