Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a professional attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, repeat them back to guests for confirmation, and input them into the POS system.
- Serve dishes and drinks in a timely manner, adhering to Taman Siswa’s standards for presentation and quality.
- Monitor tables throughout the service period, refilling drinks, addressing special requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Clear and clean tables after guests depart, resetting them for the next party while maintaining a tidy dining area.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate service flow and resolve any issues quickly.
- Handle cash and card transactions securely, provide accurate bills, and process payments with attention to detail.
- Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to food safety regulations, including proper handwashing and use of protective equipment.
- Assist in inventory checks for tableware, linens, and condiments, reporting shortages to the manager.
- Participate in regular team briefings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or currently enrolled in a related college program.
- Age: Up to 24 years old.
- Gender: Female candidates are preferred in accordance with the restaurant’s staffing policy.
- No prior experience required; however, any background in food & beverage service is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and politely with guests.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues during peak hours.
- Flexibility to work six‑hour shifts from 16:00 to 22:00, Monday through Saturday.
- Basic proficiency in using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages safely.
