We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor – Housekeeping (Room) to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure timely completion of daily cleaning tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to verify compliance with brand cleanliness standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of cleaning chemicals, linens, and equipment; coordinate with the procurement department for timely replenishment.
- Provide on‑the‑job training and mentorship to new hires, emphasizing proper use of cleaning tools, safety protocols, and guest interaction etiquette.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for room turnover, deep‑cleaning cycles, and emergency sanitation measures.
- Collaborate with front‑desk and maintenance teams to address guest requests, room repairs, and special accommodation needs efficiently.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as room turnover time, guest feedback scores, and loss‑prevention metrics, reporting findings to hotel management.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement through regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old (flexible based on experience).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Prior experience: At least 1 year in housekeeping, with 6 months in a supervisory or team‑lead role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment handling, and health‑safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and resolve conflicts among team members.
- Organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
