Introduction

We are a fast‑growing retail chain seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Kasir Penjualan Retail. This frontline position plays a vital role in delivering a seamless shopping experience for our customers while supporting the store’s overall sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer‑service mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently in a dynamic, high‑traffic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process all sales transactions accurately using the store’s POS (Point‑of‑Sale) system, handling cash, credit cards, and electronic payments.
  • Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, answering product queries, and guiding them through the purchase process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked checkout area, ensuring all promotional materials are displayed correctly.
  • Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, preparing detailed reports for management.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, fraudulent activities, or operational issues to the store supervisor promptly.
  • Assist with inventory counts, restocking shelves, and ensuring that price tags and barcodes are up‑to‑date.
  • Support promotional campaigns by upselling complementary products and informing customers about ongoing discounts.
  • Handle customer returns, exchanges, and complaints in accordance with company policies, striving to turn each interaction into a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve daily sales targets and maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with new product lines, POS updates, and customer‑service best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: 18‑25 years old.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a retail cash‑handling or customer‑service role.
  • Proven ability to operate a cash register or POS system confidently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a courteous, honest, and responsible attitude.
  • High level of accuracy, diligence, and attention to detail when handling money and documentation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
  • Team‑player mentality, willing to support colleagues during peak periods.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using spreadsheets or inventory software is a plus.
