This position focuses on delivering high‑quality, one‑on‑one physics instruction to 10th‑grade students at our Pudak Payung, Banyumanik location. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans that align with the national curriculum for 10th‑grade physics.
- Conduct weekly tutoring sessions every Saturday at 16:00, ensuring each lesson is interactive and student‑centered.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, homework assignments, and informal questioning, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and any learning challenges, updating our internal tracking system promptly.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and academic coordinators to share best practices and develop supplementary teaching materials.
- Utilize digital tools such as virtual simulations, educational videos, and interactive whiteboards to enhance understanding of core physics concepts.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem‑solving skills by guiding students through laboratory experiments and real‑world applications.
- Participate in periodic professional development workshops and staff meetings held Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, punctuality, and ethical conduct in all interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (high school diploma).
- Gender: Female (as specified by client requirements).
- Age: No maximum age limit, with a preference for candidates who can commit to a long‑term teaching schedule.
- Teaching experience: None required, but prior tutoring or classroom experience is a strong advantage.
- Subject expertise: Strong grasp of 10th‑grade physics topics, including mechanics, thermodynamics, waves, and basic electricity.
- Key skills: Ability to develop engaging lesson plans, excellent communication, patience, and a talent for simplifying abstract concepts.
- Availability: Must be able to work Saturdays at 16:00 and be present for staff meetings Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Location: Must reside near or be willing to travel to Pudak Payung, Banyumanik, Semarang.
