Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and results‑driven Field Collection Officer for the Karawang area. This role is integral to our credit management team, focusing on on‑site interaction with delinquent borrowers to recover outstanding payments while maintaining professional relationships. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and will be based in Karawang, Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Visit debtor locations and deliver official Warning Letters (Surat Peringatan) for accounts overdue more than 20 days.
- Validate the debtor’s situation, conduct a thorough analysis of the outstanding obligation, and initiate the collection process.
- Negotiate realistic repayment options that align with both the debtor’s capacity and the company’s policies.
- Monitor agreed‑upon payment schedules, follow up on promised payments, and take corrective action if deadlines are missed.
- Track down customers who cannot be reached at their listed residence or office, using alternative contact methods and field verification techniques.
- Ensure that all customer data—including phone numbers, addresses, and contact preferences—is accurate and up‑to‑date in the collection system.
- Prepare detailed visit reports, discuss outcomes with supervisors, and log every collection activity in the designated software platform.
- Coordinate closely with internal collection teams, credit risk units, and legal advisors to ensure a cohesive approach to delinquency management.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies, including data privacy and consumer protection standards.
- Identify patterns of recurring delinquency and provide feedback to the credit department for continuous improvement of risk assessment models.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates, age not exceeding 50 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in field collection or a related role; fresh graduates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply.
- Possession of a valid motor vehicle and at least a Class C Indonesian driving license (SIM C).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Demonstrated persistence and a results‑oriented mindset focused on achieving collection targets.
- Team player with solid interpersonal abilities and the capacity to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with collection management software.
- Resides in or is willing to relocate to Karawang.
